Now proudly offering this stunning, richly colored sooty bay son of Boss Jr. "Gunner" aka Boss' Colt .45. He is available to a good home. Gunner has an easygoing temperament like his parents, he takes everything new in stride. We are expecting he will make 14.1 or 14.2 at adulthood. Yes, plenty of white, but he actually cleans up quite easily, our favorite go to shampoo is Orvus paste to get him bright white like you see in these photos, no whitening shampoo was used in preparation for these photos, if we can do it, so can you! And nothing is more rewarding than a clean, gorgeous tobiano Gypsy horse with white feather, and bonus, he has a black tail so no worries there! Gunner is an athletic, talented boy that can go in any direction you choose. He is very good minded and adaptable. He walked without worry about ten minutes down the road, away from all of his companions to the neighbors arena for our photo and video shoot in March 2025. He didn't call to any of his companions until we were ready to head back almost an hour later and he walked calmly the whole way home as his companions repeatedly called to him. I think he enjoyed his lone, big boy adventure down the road. He cross ties and stands quietly for grooming and the farrier. 

 

His half sister Gitt The Boss Lady Chocolate, is a multi time dressage champion in USDF at only 13.2 hh as a three year old.

He is GVHS Registration Pending, GHRA Eligible and is DNA Color/Health Panel Pending with EtalonDX. Color DNA is expected to be EE, Aa, Tt or TT - He is PSSM n/n and FIS n/n by parentage.

"Gunner" is the offspring of Boss Jr. and Dunrovin's Lalique. Lali as we call his mother has a small show record from her younger days but has mostly been used as a trail riding horse for her owners. She is a maternal sister to the renowned GVHS Five Star Legion of Excellence stallion Dunrovin's Aldebaran, multiple National Champion, Supreme Champion, Dressage and Freestyle Champion. Gunner's grandsire Gaelic Dancer was the Reserve Super Horse at the Western States Horse Expo. 

 

"Gunner's" sire is our very own Boss Jr., multi-National and Reserve National Champion and National Champion sire as well as being the only GVHS Five Star rated son of The Business aka The Boss. Boss Jr. is siring National and USDF Dressage Champions, offspring with excellent movement and the ideal Gypsy Vanner temperaments.

 

I expect that Gunner will be not only a great family, trail riding prospect but an excellent halter/performance prospect, he is a beautiful mover, like his sire, dam, uncle and grandsire before him were proven to be.
